“Being Black Doesn’t Give You A License To Call People Racist,” Alan Dershowitz Crushes Maxine Waters

Alan Dershowitz & Maxine Waters

Professor Alan Dershowitz claimed that the Mueller’s jury was stacked against President Trump due to the types of people they were choosing to be a part of it. “I think it’s a tactical move designed to send a message that if the prosecutor decides to prosecute, he will have a real advantage with the jury pool where the case will be held,” said Dershowitz.

“It gives the prosecutor the power to indict in the District of Columbia, which is a district that is heavily Democratic, and would have a jury pool very unfavorable to Trump and the Trump Administration. It gives the prosecutor a tremendous tactical advantage,” he said. He went on to say that the District of Columbia “is always solidly Democratic and has an ethnic and racial composition that might be very unfavorable to the Trump Administration.”

Maxine Waters responded to these allegations in the classical liberal way, by calling Dershowitz a racist. But he wasn’t willing to take that. “We will not stand for it. We will push back against that because that is absolutely racist,” Waters said.

“Maxine Waters should know better. She knows that every experienced lawyer — white, black, Asian, Latino — knows that when you’re selecting a jury, factors like ethnicity, race and political affiliation matter. If I had said that race didn’t matter, she would have called me a racist,” said Dershowitz.

“She throws around the term so loosely and so inappropriately and it weakens her credibility,” said Dershowitz. “Being black doesn’t give you a license to call people racist. She ought to understand that every criminal defense lawyer knows that race matters, ethnicity matters, political affiliation matters,” said Dershowitz. Check out the video below.
