The investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server was severely mishandled by former FBI Director James Comey, and ultimately resulted in him being fired. Could a new investigator reopen the case? We can only hope! (via Fox News)
James Comey made a lot of suspicious decisions regarding the email server investigation in the lead up to the 2016 election. Some of these decisions spat in the face of American law.
Comey claims he acted in such an odd manner because he could not trust the Democrat Attorney General Loretta Lynch, but in doing so, he acted even worse. Thank goodness Trump fired Comey.
However, Comey’s behavior betrays his stated intentions. Lynch may have been obstructing the investigation into Clinton’s email server — right alongside Comey. Comey was compromised by the deep state operatives infesting our Capitol.
President Trump ultimately dismissed James Comey on the recommendation of Attorney General Sessions because Comey usurped the authority of the Attorney General’s office when he announced that the Clinton investigation was closed.
Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein wrote, “The Director laid out his version of the facts for the news media as if it were a closing argument, but without a trial. It is a textbook example of what federal prosecutors and agents are taught not to do.” (via BBC)
However, the FBI was handing out immunity deals to Clinton’s cronies like candy. Immunity deals are typically granted to small fish in an attempt to get closer to the real culprit. Yet, Comey granted immunity for nothing in return.
Comey was protecting Clinton just like Lynch. When he made his public testimony announcing the closing of the case, Comey was hedging his bets. He protected Clinton — but he wanted to keep his job if she lost.
President Trump saw through the devious plan, and fired Comey for playing politics. We should be grateful for Trump’s excellent decision-making abilities. We need to drain the swamp, and this is a good start.
The entire investigation into Hillary Clinton was shady from the start, and the new FBI Director would be wise to reevaluate the decision to close the case. The American people deserve justice, and we will find it with Trump in office.
